Are you looking for a way to engage with your students, colleagues, friends or family? Hearing directly from someone who has had a refugee experience is by far the most compelling way for people to learn about refugee issues. The best option is always to personal connection, and you can engage our Face to Face speakers program, which operates in Sydney and Melbourne.

However, for those not able to access the Face to Face program, we have compiled a range of videos you can use during Refugee Week. Here are a few of our favourite videos you can watch and share that centre around the direct experiences of people of refugee background:

Najeeba Wazefadost – Founder and President of Hazara Women of Australia –  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xmHQYV127QA

Munjed Al Muderis – Orthopaedic Surgeon and Clinical Lecturer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uw3YLEYz6R8

Hieu Van Le – Governor of South Australia – https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=10153162058453441

For more nuanced and complex subject matter, you can watch these longer videos from the Refugee Alternatives Conference in Brisbane 2020:
