Refugee Week NSW launch 2017

The Refugee Council of Australia & City of Sydney hosted the official NSW launch of Refugee Week 2017 at Paddington Town Hall.

The event, organised by RCOA, featured speakers from refugee backgrounds, live entertainment, a children’s workshop and a book reading of ‘I’m Australian Too’ by Mem Fox.

Refugee Week Victoria Launch 2017

Friday 18th June

The Refugee Council of Australia will be hosting the Victorian launch on Friday the 18th of June at Cinema Nova.

Festival of Welcome 24th June

The Refugee Council of Australia and Federation Square have teamed up this year to present Festival of Welcome: A Winter Solstice Celebration at Federation Square, Melbourne.   

The night will boast an impressive line-up of live music from every corner of the globe, captivating roving performers, art installations and a unique bazaar filled with a curation of stallholders from crafts to hot chocolate. Coming together on the Saturday before the winter equinox, this free event will be sure to brighten your night.

Refugee Week SA launch 2017

Tuesday 20th June

The SA Refugee Week Committee and the Australia Migrant Resource Centre will launch SA Refugee Week 2017 on Tuesday 20 June 5:00pm-6:00pm at Government House, SA. The week long events will be welcomed by His Excellency the Hon. Mr Hieu Van Le, AC, Governor of South Australia Government House, North Terrace. Adelaide SA. This event is invite only.
